A Reset...
The word “fasting” used to be a word that triggered religious mindsets to create ideas of pious self righteous isolation and misery, but recently, thanks to positive endorsements from scientific studies, Fasting has become the (ancient) new cool.
The chances are, you’ve heard of intermittent fasting. This is a perfect starting point for newcomers. During these fasting hours your body will begin repairing damaged cells, lowering inflammation, killing off bad gut bacteria and using stored fat reserves as a primary fuel source. It is a process called “ Autophagy”. All of this is wonderful for your mental and physical health.
Benefits such as better digestion, increased energy, clearing of brain fog, and usually weight loss accompany even a basic fast.
This is Bio-Hacking at its best.
Think of it as your body doing a bit of housework....
So when there is no rubbish left in the cells for bacteria and viruses to feed on, guess what?....They DIE, because they cannot replicate.
So what happens then?
Yes! - You got it!.... You start getting better as your body starts to heal.
